Watch Zombies Fall from the Sky

Everyone knows the Zombie Bike Ride is just another bike ride… right? Better think again 🪂

Davis' annual Zombie Bike Ride is a community tradition that is fast becoming a regional attraction with zombies on bikes, community members in Halloween costumes, theatre performers juggling skulls and kids winning prizes for best costumes—all in a days work for the event planners, but The Davis Odd Fellows and The Bike Campaign are advising event attendees to hold on to their handlebars, because there's even more in store for 2021.

That's right, after enjoying Bike City Theatre Company's 9 theatre acts along the 12 mile Davis Bike Loop from 12–3pm, event attendees are asked to gather at Community Park in Davis to watch Skydance Skydiving zombies fall from the sky as a part of an elaborate Halloween day grand finale from 3-3:15pm.

Thousands will be gathered on this Sunday afternoon with great weather forecast.

Our grand finale is made possible by Skydance Skydiving in Davis, especially the management team and the skydivers themselves. We are grateful to their team for attaining FAA approval and having some of their top skydivers go through rigorous training and earning PRO ratings which require hundreds if not thousands of jumps over their careers.

And we couldn't put on the grand finale without our generous skydiving sponsors Lawson Youmans of Hallmark Properties and Mathias Klein of Klein Hardwood Flooring! These two exhibit a love for community that can be seen in their selfless service and work. They didn't hesitate to cover all major expenses related to bringing zombie skydiving to the community this year!

Finally, we want to thank the Davis Boy Scouts' All-Girl Troop as well as the Davis Adventure Society's Navigators for volunteering to set up and secure the skydiving landing zone. We couldn't provide this fun celebratory spectacle without all of our volunteers.

After the grand finale be sure to join our Zombie Mash afterparty, sponsored by the Davis Downtown Business Association at Davis Common, at 500 1st Street, where attendees can enjoy DJ Duc Jones, as well as a fantastic array of food, drink and dessert options from 3:30-5:30pm. Mix in trick-or-treating 🎃 for kids at dozens of downtown businesses along the DDBA's Spooktacular Treat Trail from 2:30-5pm.
