Zombies rise.
Davis rides.

You do not need a bike. Everyone is welcome at Community Park. Riding is the centerpiece, but optional.

A FREE festival on Halloween itself. 25+ entertainment stations, a BMX stunt show, thousands of costumed riders, and zombies falling out of the sky. A whole October of Halloween across town, and every net dollar builds a custom trike for a child who has never ridden. Make Davis your Halloweekend destination.

Why we ride

Every dollar builds a tryke

The Zombie Bike Ride's mission has always been to make bicycling available to everyone, including children with disabilities. Over the past seven years the organizers have raised funds, primarily from sponsors, and donated more than $50,000 to NorCal Trykers, who build custom tricycles for children with disabilities.

Each tricycle costs $1,000 or more to make, and funds from our events have now put more than 40 children on one. Those children get to feel the freedom of riding, and the wind in their hair, for the first time. Our sponsors are the reason we can do that and still keep this festival almost entirely FREE to the public.

And there are songs

The parade has its own songs

Two quirky, fun tracks made for the festival by our Davis friend Matthew Wright of eNuminous and Archimedes.

Ride with us

Riding with us this year?

There is no real need to tell us you are coming. Just turn up.

But it does help us plan a great event. So everyone who tells us goes into a raffle to win a Greg the Zombie plushy: an interactive zombie whose brains, heart and three foot long guts all pull out. It is exactly as good as it sounds.

Riding with us: Charlene

Nothing is booked and nothing is owed. The parade is FREE and you can just turn up.
